The Chairman and other staff of NaCCED on Monday 31st July, 2023, joined the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MoPED) to bid Dr. Francis M. Kaikai (the outgoing Minister) farewell, and to also welcome Madam Kenyeh Ballay, the incoming Minister. MOPED has been NaCCED’s supervisory ministry over the past four years. It has provided administrative and other support to the Council under the leadership of Dr. Francis M. Kai-Kai and his Deputy Rev. Dr. Jonathan Titus-Williams.

NaCCED’s Chairman Mr. Kalilu Ibrahim Totangi described the Council’s work relationship with MoPED as worthy and one that he was grateful for. He thanked Dr. Kaikai and all MoPED staff for their support since 2018 to present.

“ I want to thank Dr. Kai-Kai and Rev. Williams for allowing me to drink from your deep well of experience,” he added. He ended with welcoming Madam Ballay and assured her of NaCCED’s commitment to working with MoPED, and to ensuring her vision for the ministry is realized.

Dr. Kai- Kai acknowledged NaCCED’s contribution and support in promoting the ministry’s development communications drive over the years. He therefore encouraged the substantive Minister to continue to rely on NaCCED’s development communication, civic engagement and outreach interventions.
