
The Chairman of the National Council for Civic Education and Democracy, Mr. Joseph Munda Bindi, has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Youth, Mr. Ibrahim Sannoh.
The visit highlighted the importance of the Ministry of Youth’s participation in the Open Government Partnership, which aligns with the government’s Big Five agenda and, most specifically, human capital development.
Chairman Bindi said the Ministry has made several commitments to OGP global, and it is expected of the government of Sierra Leone to work towards achieving these commitments.
Minister Sannoh stated that the Ministry has published the Status of Youth report and is currently restructuring the ministry to meet modern standards, benefiting young people.
The Chairman and the Minister have pledged their commitment to work in partnership to improve civic education and youth participation across the country.
